Position Overview

The Role

Strategy expressed through the experience.

The Conversion Experience Designer helps turn business goals, audience intent, messaging, and conversion evidence into websites and landing experiences designed around action.

This is not a role centered on decoration or producing screens in isolation. You will think through what brought someone to the experience, what they need to understand next, what creates unnecessary friction, and how design can make the appropriate action clearer.

What You’ll Own

A clearer path from attention to action.

  • Translate campaign intent and business objectives into conversion-focused page structures.
  • Develop information hierarchy, messaging flow, interaction patterns, and visual direction together.
  • Connect design decisions to user behavior, lead quality, and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify unnecessary friction and recommend a clearer path without stripping away useful context.

What Success Looks Like

The experience becomes easier to understand and easier to act on.

  1. 01

Pages establish relevance quickly and give the visitor a clear reason to continue.

  2. 02

Design, messaging, and calls to action work together instead of competing for attention.

  3. 03

Conversion evidence influences what changes next instead of design decisions ending at launch.

Responsibilities

Design with the entire conversion path in view.

  • Design and refine websites, landing pages, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
  • Translate strategy and content into useful page architecture and visual hierarchy.
  • Collaborate with acquisition, intelligence, development, and client-facing contributors.
  • Evaluate desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences as distinct design conditions rather than scaled versions of one another.
  • Use analytics, behavioral evidence, lead outcomes, and testing to improve existing experiences.
  • Create useful design systems and reusable patterns without making every experience look the same.
  • Surface conflicts between business goals, visitor intent, messaging, and interaction before they become production problems.

Qualifications

Strong visual judgment with a reason behind it.

  • Experience designing websites, landing pages, digital products, or conversion-focused experiences.
  • Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, spacing, responsive design, and interaction.
  • Ability to explain why a design decision supports the intended user or business outcome.
  • Comfort moving between strategy, wireframing, visual design, and implementation realities.
  • Experience collaborating with developers and understanding the constraints of production environments.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful problem solving rather than visual treatment alone.

Preferred Qualifications

Helpful depth.

  • Experience with lead-generation websites or considered-purchase customer journeys.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Divi, or comparable production environments.
  • Working knowledge of analytics, conversion measurement, experimentation, and behavioral tools.
  • Experience designing experiences connected directly to paid acquisition.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, technical performance, and search considerations.

How We Work

Performance. Judgment. Accountability.

At Creative Jolt, design is expected to do more than look finished. We expect the person shaping an experience to understand why it exists, what action it should support, and what evidence will tell us whether the design actually helped.

Intelligent tools can accelerate exploration and production. Human judgment remains responsible for the experience.
